Guy Dumas is the founder of The Design House and has 15 years of practical experience serving the architectural needs of Central Ontario, with customers from coast to coast in Canada and the United States. Originality in design comes from, not only, our dealings with satisfied customers throughout North America, but also, to the exposure of the needs of clients in South America, Europe & Asia, in such countries such as Chile, Germany, Russia, Japan, Korea & China. Experiences in such diverse markets as these have lead to a keen attention to detail and unique sense of international style. Each of these markets contributes to a distinct approach to customer service and the product development practiced by The Design House.
At The Design House we define architectural design as: the creation of new, or the manipulation of existing, spaces within which humans will interact, including live, work, entertain and be entertained. Good designs positively affect the people who interact with them. This may include the simplification or enhancement of a fulfilling existence.
At The Design House we understand that drafting is the physical representation of construction components and assemblies allowing for the accurate construction of architectural structures.
The Design House seeks to provide each client with precisely what they desire and require, tailoring architectural packages to satisfy specific needs. As an example, detailed manufacturing assembly and construction details might be required for a pre-manufactured building being shipped thousands of miles from North America. This would necessitate the transmission of information which transcends language barriers.
